Nathan Hansen

Nathan brings nearly a decade of major gift strategy experience to the Fly Again Foundation. He has raised major, planned, and principal gifts for worthy causes, most recently with Chicago’s iconic Navy Pier to develop fundraising structure best practices, including creating gift acceptance policies, a planned giving program, creating new revenue pipelines and strategy around Navy Pier’s largest fundraising event.

Nathan's experience includes raising over $2,000,000 in just under a year for Santa Clara University's College of Arts and Sciences, and then as the Director of Planned Giving, successfully raising over $7,000,000, including a $5,800,000 estate gift.

After returning home to Missouri to work at the University of Missouri System, he served as the first-ever Director of Advancement where his engagement efforts resulted in a 400% increase in projected revenue for the Office of Engagement at the UM System.

 

He now is Senior Director at CSS Fundraising.
